ClaimAble Claims Management System Embraces Adobe AIR Technology to Bring Cloud Computing to Businesses

Vaulthouse has launched its flagship product aimed at companies that deal with insurance claims. ClaimAble is an innovative claims management solution based on the Adobe AIR framework, enabling a desktop-like experience to be delivered over the web.
AIR is a cross-platform runtime environment from Adobe that provides a method of deploying rich internet applications to the desktop, and lets them run like native applications that interact with the local operating system.
"There is a lack of web applications for enterprises that really exploit Adobe AIR", says Miles Tinsley, managing director at Vaulthouse. "It is a powerful tool that has enabled us to deliver a lightweight, robust application straight to the desktop. The technology means that users can access the system from a web browser, or as an application running directly on their computer."
There is an emerging acceptance from companies that they need to embrace new web technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
By storing information in "the Cloud", an industry term for the internet as storage medium and application platform, ClaimAble allows users to access the collective knowledge of multiple contributors. Clients and suppliers can also benefit from the transparent data pool, with access to the right information at the right time. The data is secure and accessible.
