The delegates of the 42 insurance companies that make up the membership of LTCIF recently elected Pam Kreager to head the organization on the basis of her professionalism, industry expertise and long standing membership in the group, including leadership positions such as Program Chair for the association's annual meeting, a role she has held for the last two years.

Pam, now in her 12th year at LTCG, has had a long and successful career as a clinician. She joined the company in May of 1997 as a Long Term Care Underwriter, after spending 16 years in the nursing profession. At LTCG, Pam ascended quickly through the management ranks becoming the Director of the Underwriting Department where she oversaw a staff of 30 Underwriters before moving into her current role in 2006.

As the Director of Clinical Quality and Standards, Pam is responsible for training, quality assurance and criteria review that form the basis of LTCG's underwriting practice. "This group is charged with keeping LTCG on the cutting edge of risk management, something LTCG's clients have come to expect from us as the industry leader," says LTCG President Peter Goldstein. Peter went on to say, "I've had the privilege of working side by side with Pam for over a decade now. She's an excellent choice for the important post of LTCIF President, and we are very proud of her for being recognized by her industry peers in this manner." LTCG CEO Bruce Baude added, "Pam embodies LTCG's values of respect for people, learning and competence. She's regarded as a true expert in her field and is a great example of the type of people we work hard to cultivate here at LTCG."
