Kellogg Company Releases Special-Edition Packaging to Promote NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest
Frosted Flakes and NFL PLAY 60 Will Send One 'Super Kid' to Super Bowl XLIII to Help Start the Game

BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) today announced the release of special-edition packaging to promote the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest and its sponsorship of the NFL. The contest, presented by the Kellogg's Frosted Flakes(TM) Earn Your Stripes(TM) program, will send one lucky winner to Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay, Fla., for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of taking the field before the game and presenting the official game ball to a member of the officiating staff.

More information about the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest can be found on special-edition boxes of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes(R) cereal beginning this month.

"We're thrilled to partner with NFL PLAY 60 on this exciting program for kids. Like NFL PLAY 60, Earn Your Stripes(TM) is dedicated to encouraging kids to lead healthy lives by being active and eating right," said AnneMarie Suarez-Davis, Associate Director for Kid's Ready-to-Eat Cereals, Kellogg Company. "The NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest is a great way to celebrate our young people who are committed to health and fitness by giving them this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Kids may enter the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest online at NFLRUSH.com, the NFL's official Web site for kids, through December 15, 2008. To be eligible, kids must answer two questions about the importance of health and fitness. Entrants must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to participate in this contest prior to entering. Kids ages 6 to 13 can participate in the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest.

The winner will be selected by a panel of NFL players including NFL PLAY 60 spokesmen New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss. The grand prize includes a trip for three to Super Bowl XLIII, tickets to NFL Experience and NFL PLAY 60 Kids Day, and a hotel room for seven days and six nights. The winner will be a part of Kids Day festivities at NFL Experience, joining local children who participated in the NFL PLAY 60 Challenge. The winner may also be featured on boxes of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes(R) cereal after the Super Bowl.

During last year's inaugural NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Sweepstakes, over 50,000 children registered for the chance to be a part of the Super Bowl by pledging to "PLAY 60."

Kellogg's Frosted Flakes(R) cereal created the Earn Your Stripes(TM) program in 2004 to encourage kids to eat right, work hard and take their game to the next level. Earn Your Stripes(TM) aims to inspire kids to believe in themselves, to overcome challenges, accomplish their goals and be their very best.
