Yahoo Loses IP Chief

Joseph Siino hits the trail

The latest in a long line of Yahoo execs to hit the trail is Joseph Siino, the guy who built its IP department.

He's decided to try his hand monetizing patents, but hasn't said where yet.

In his farewell e-mail to the troops, he claimed Yahoo's IP is worth billions of dollars.
