Actiontec Announces "I Love My Broadband" Video Contest to Celebrate the Shipping of Its 10 Millionth Broadband Device
Video Contest Puts Your Creative Skills to the Test, Chance to Win $500

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/29/08 -- To commemorate a major milestone for 2008 shipping its 10 millionth broadband device since their first entry into the broadband market in 2001, Actiontec Electronics announced its "I Love my Broadband" video contest where anyone can submit a short video on why they love their broadband for the chance to win $500.

To enter the contest, create your video, upload it to the Internet and submit an entry no later than 11:59 p.m. PST on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Actiontec's employees will view all video submissions, pick the top 20 videos and post them online at or the GoActiontec YouTube Channel for voting. The video receiving the most votes by Sunday, February 15, 2009 will win the prize. Voting is open to everyone.

Actiontec is celebrating its growth in the broadband market with its 10 millionth broadband device shipped in 2008, as well as the fact that Actiontec has shipped over 5 million broadband devices since March 2007.
