Gomez Detects 2x Increases in Average Web Site Response Times and Failure Rates

, reports that Google's technical issues this morning caused dramatic performance issues for many web businesses. Gomez, which tests tens of thousands of web sites 24/7/365 using the industry's largest global performance monitoring network, found that immediately after Google's problems started, web sites on average took twice as long to load and were twice as likely to fail.
