IP Attorney Steven P. Shurtz Participates in Salt Lake City Public Library's Inventors Fair

CHICAGO, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Intellectual Property attorney, Steven P. Shurtz, managing partner of the Salt Lake City office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firm in the United States, will offer the benefit of his years of experience and expertise in the area of patent law when he participates at the Salt Lake City Public Library's Inventors Fair on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Main Library in Salt Lake City. The 2008 City Library Inventors Fair is co-sponsored by Watson Pharmaceuticals.
Members of the community and the media are invited to spend the day sharing their work and learning from the experts. A representative from UtahInventor.org will hold a workshop on developing inventing skills and a representative from the University of Utah Marriott Library will discuss the process of acquiring a patent. Local inventors will display their patented or patent-pending inventions and inventions. At 2:00 p.m., Mr. Shurtz will participate in an informative panel discussion on the patent process and will answer questions.
Mr. Shurtz specializes in U.S. patent application preparation and prosecution, foreign patent prosecution, patent opinion and counseling.
